As a Release Manager at Datamotive, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality products. Your focus will be on planning the releases, ensuring adherence to the planned release schedule, change management procedures, enhancing Agile practices, and fostering collaboration across teams. You will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing tools and integrations that support our technology and product teams, as well as safeguarding our production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Release planning
Develop a Timeline: Establish a timeline for the release, including key milestones such as feature freeze, code freeze, testing phases, and the release date.
Resource Allocation: Ensure that necessary resources are available, including development, testing, and operations teams.
Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and have mitigation strategies in place. This includes assessing dependencies and potential impacts on other systems
Change Management Assurance: Ensure all technology teams follow comprehensive change management procedures. This involves meticulous planning, risk assessment, rollback strategies, and effective communication to manage changes across production environments.
Tool Development and Enhancement: Design and enhance tools that facilitate Agile methodologies and collaboration among Datamotive’s technology teams. Your contributions will be key in improving productivity and maintaining the stability of production systems.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience 4-5 years
